Plants need to absorb light so they can have more natural looking in pictures and also natural light helps the camera to take perfect natural shots of the plants. Adjust to the shutter speed to fast shutter speed to freeze the motion and vice versa if you want to blur the motion in plants.

Make sure to have good exposure. Always turn your camera to shoot in RAW images, which are use of more common higher end and professional cameras nowadays. Choose Aperture Priority rather than Shutter Priority because shutter priority refers only to the length of time you take the photo. Aperture priority controls the depth of field or how much of your camera focus on the image. The depth of field is the distance in front and the behind the subject that can be considered also a focus.
