Dr. Jones is popular with his iconic look wearing leather jacket, bullwhip and a tall-crowned, wide-brimmed fedora. He has a deep knowledge of ancient civilizations and languages giving him a key to understand and communicate with other people around the world.
The character “Indiana Jones” appeared in the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark, 1984 film Temple of Doom, 1989 film The Last Crusade and the 2008 film The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It also appeared in several officially licensed games, novels, comics, and books and won several awards like #2 on Time Magazine’s list of The Greatest Fictional Characters of All Time, surpassed only by Sherlock Holmes.
