The whole world was shocked when Neil Armstrong, a famous American astronaut, United States Naval Aviator, Korean War veteran, aerospace engineer, university professor, military pilot and first man on the moon, has died at the age of 82 on Saturday from complications following heart surgery. He, a quiet hero who made “one giant leap for mankind” became the symbol of the dream not just of one country but of a whole world.
Just like the passing of the music legend Whitney Houston, the great revolutionary genius Steve Jobs and other global heroes who passed away leaving a mark in the history, the whole world mourned. And just like our graphic tribute to Steve Jobs and Whitney Houston, we would want to pay a graphic tribute to Neil Armstrong as well.
Today, with this post, I would personally want to pay tribute to a global hero who left his mark on history by means of this inspirational compilation of 20+ graphic tributes to Neil Armstrong. He’ll always be in our hearts; the first man on moon will always be remembered. You are the symbol of the dream of a whole world.
Rest in Peace Neil, from the earth, to the moon and now to the heaven above us. Love from Philippines.
