3D typography designs are not possible without the aid of various editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Some also used 3d modelling software such as Cinema4D, 3DS MAX, Blender, Maya, Hexagon, Sketchup, Carrara, LightWave 3D, Silo, ZBrush and so on. Most of the workflow will tell you that they’ve done the art using the combination of any of these software and Adobe Photoshop.
They simply created 3D models using 3d software then integrate it to Adobe Photoshop to polish the design and add other details. The result won’t be good enough if you are not good in typography.
