The story of David and Goliath is one of the most unforgettable biblical stories embedded in the mind of every one throughout the centuries. The main ingredient of the story is when David, a shepherd boy and the youngest son of Jesse, defeated the mighty Philistine warrior Goliath. David defeated Goliath with a single shot of a stone which is penetrated with the power of a bullet. The Philistine army made a disorderly retreat upon seeing their hero defeated.
Even though Goliath seemed invincible, David wasn’t afraid of him. David grew up to be King of Israel and human ancestor of Jesus Christ. And his faith in God caused him to look at Goliath in a different perspective. He never seen a giant enemy in front of him but a mortal man. He don’t also waver nor threatened even if the people around them were cowered in fear. David ran to the battle and continue to fight Goliath in spite of discouraging insults.
